Alex Taylor is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree as well as the President of Digital & Content at Clique Media Group, the company behind the popular brands Who What Wear, Byrdie, MyDomaine, CollegeFashionista, and Obsessee. Prior to CMG, Taylor was at Google leading creative partnerships in the fashion & beauty space with Google+ where she was instrumental in the launch of shoppable live-streaming video content and strategic collaborations with Vogue, the CFDA, and top beauty brands such as L'Oreal and Bare Escentuals.
Before Google, Taylor was at the startup EQAL where she established a robust celebrity influencer network that included sites such as LaurenConrad.com and MichellePhan.com and launched the Streamy-nominated YouTube channel, U Look Haute. During this time, Taylor was awarded with the 2011 W3 Award for "Web Creativity in Fashion and Beauty" and later received the Communicator Award for her work with online beauty and lifestyle content. While at EQAL, Taylor also partnered with L'Oreal to successfully launch Makeup.com. In 2012, EQAL was acquired by Everyday Health.
In 2013 Taylor transitioned back into editorial to focus on content and top-level strategy at CMG where she has been instrumental in scaling the business and growing the brands (Who What Wear, Byrdie, MyDomaine). As for what's next, Taylor hopes to continue to grow and develop CMG's brands and inspire other young women to excel in the fields of fashion and tech.
