Sara’s Aritzia career started in the early 2000s when she entered the retail business on the sales floor (in store number six) as a part-time job while completing a second university degree.

Twenty-four years and over 100 Aritzia stores later, Sara now holds the leadership position of Vice President, Talent Acquisition and is a beloved people leader within the organization.

Sara’s career at Aritzia has spanned numerous roles in the retail and the people & culture divisions of Aritzia. As a champion of Aritzia’s culture and values, Sara’s growth at has been underpinned by her mentorship, teamwork and understanding of the Aritzia business from the ground up.

As a former elite college athlete, Sara was recently inducted into the University of Western’s Hall of Fame in recognition of her achievements as student athlete which include the honors of 4x All Canadian Student Athlete and Canadian University female soccer career goals record holder.  Many of the skills Sara leverages in her professional life were formed while captaining teams of female athletes throughout her illustrious sports career.

Sara is a working mom, who splits time between supporting the growth of Aritzia’s business while also raising a young family.  She loves spending time in the ocean and mountains surrounding her home in Vancouver.
